Admission into Mbagen College of Health Technology is open to prospective candidates, whether male or female who have successfully completed their Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE), or General Certificate of Education (GCE); who are 18 years and above. For the Junior Certificate Health Extension Worker (JCHEW) cadre applicants must have five (5) ordinary level credit passes which must include Biology or Health Science, Mathematics, English Language, and two (2) other science subjects.
Meanwhile, applicants for the Cummunity Health Extension worker or ordinary Diploma in Community Health Programme must have five (5) relevant ordinary level credit passess at not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and two (2) other science subjects.
